Beautiful Boy John Lennon

The line, "Every day in every way, I became better and better" is a mantra of self-improvement. It was popularized by a French psychologist named Emile Coue, who made his patients to repeat again and again. (Thanks, Edward Pearce - Ashford, Kent, England)

Richard Dreyfuss character from 'Mr. Holland sings the deaf son of Mr. Holland's Opus movie. In the scene, Mr. Holland is shocked by the death of John Lennon. When the son asks him what is wrong, Mr. Holland says he does not understand. Deaf boy gets angry about this, because it is not stupid, so Mr. Holland at the concert and the deaf to sing this song for his son. (Thanks, Andrew - Oklahoma City, OK)

Notice the tribute in song by Paul McCartney in the words, "Every day in every way, it's getting better and better." It's the Beatles song "Getting Better" - the contribution of this song John at the time of cynical and funny (his words were "can not get any worse"), but here he sent a short message to Paul that Paul was right, life is better to have taken better care (Thanks, Leigh - New York, NY.)
